After earning another $8.4 million in box office sales this weekend, Black Panther has taken then no. 3 spot from Titanic to become the third-highest grossing film of all time in the U.S. Forbes reports that the superhero flick has now grossed $665.4 million while Titanic grossed $659 million. Titanic had been in the top three for 20 years.
In order to take to the no. 2 spot from Avatar, the Ryan Coogler directed film would have to gross $95 million more domestically.
Black Panther is just shy of grossing $1.3 billion worldwide, ending with $1.2999 in box office sales this weekend.
